Resende – The Agulhas Negras Military Academy (AMAN) held a graduation ceremony on Friday morning (19) celebrating Army Day, at Pátio Duque de Caxias, in Resende.
The objective was to honor with medals and diplomas several personalities from the military and civilian world who were part of the history of the Brazilian Army.
April 19th marks the First Battle of Guararapes in 1648. The episode is considered the founder of nationality and fueled the union of Brazilians and the sense of belonging to the land.
But this is not the only program of the month. This Sunday (21), AMAN is holding an exhibition of old materials from 8am to 12pm at Parque das Águas. In addition to this exhibition, the Symphonic Band of the AMAN Command and Services Battalion will perform at 10am.
