The President’s verbal barrage against the inhabitants of Mexico City for having gone right and other adjectives is the best sign that his party is going to lose the country’s capital.
You already perceived it. The population wants a change. Your candidate is going to lose.
Like a bucket of cold water on Clara Brugada’s back, López Obrador’s attacks on the residents of the capital who, in his opinion, have already changed their political preference must have fallen.
They miss the President’s arguments when justifying in advance the defeat on June 2, because they have no relationship with reality.

There is, in fact, an accumulated fatigue due to Morena’s mismanagement in the city, which is expressed in thousands of deaths due to negligence, a drop in the quality of services and disasters attributable to corruption in transportation works.
There is no reason, other than negligence, that Mexico City has had one of the worst efforts to mitigate the deadly scourge of the pandemic, while the neighboring state, and with a similar sociodemographic composition, Edomex, has been one of those that gave the best response to protect the population during covid.
These failures do not go unnoticed by citizens.
It is impossible not to realize that the water shortage in large areas of the capital is due, beyond the natural phenomenon of drought, to the lack of hydraulic works. There is water, and a lot of it.
The drinking water leaks are visible to all who want to see, where 40 percent of the supply goes.
And the works to repair and change pipes? They were in the same vein as the measures intended to protect the lives of the population in the face of a pandemic that affected the entire world, but caused more deaths in Mexico and, notably, in the city governed by Morena.
The negligence of the political group that aspires to continue governing the capital has had enough.
The Metro falls down. They were told by all means what was going to happen, and finally the collapse with fatal consequences occurred.
Morena deprived the capital’s residents of a modern, functional, nearby airport that was not only going to benefit those who use airplanes, but also an entire large area of the city that needs a boost of these dimensions for its development.
True, the airport was built in Texcoco, but it is a suburban area of Mexico City. It was going to free up the land of the current airport, which, among many other benefits, would relieve vehicular traffic coming from Iztapalapa. Currently it is a funnel.
Security, although it is denied, was better in Mancera’s government than in the current one. And if the homicide rate has increased worryingly in any mayor’s office, it is in Iztapalapa.
