Araruama – This Friday (19), Indigenous Peoples Day, Araruama City Hall held an event to celebrate the date, at the Indigenous Archaeological Site. The location is at the Honorino Coutinho School, in the Morro Grande district.
The date, celebrated nationally, was created to celebrate cultural diversity, preserve the culture and history of indigenous peoples, combat prejudice and promote public policies that ensure the rights of indigenous peoples.
The event featured several activities, including: cultural presentations by students, dances, games and typical foods.
