Araruama – On May 20th, Araruama City Hall will promote “Low-Risk Pre-Natal Training”, aimed at professionals who work in the Primary Care network of the Department of Health. The training will take place at CRAS in the Outeiro neighborhood, from 1pm to 5pm.
The objective of the meeting is to guide professionals — doctors and nurses — on how to carry out prenatal care and early detection of maternal and fetal pathologies, allowing for the healthy development of the baby and reducing the risks for pregnant women.
The training will be given by several speakers. They are: Dr. Gustavo Magalhães, gynecologist; Cláudia Borges, obstetric nurse; Thabata Sicuro, coordinator of the IST Program; and Bianca Frederico, coordinator of PAISMCA (Program for Comprehensive Health Care for Women, Children and Adolescents).
