Arca Continental, one of the largest Coca-Cola bottlers in the world, thanks to its great performance in key indicators, including its solid financial profile, as well as its strategy to mitigate currency fluctuations in the Mexican market, received the rating A3 credit rating granted by Moody’s Ratings.
Moody’s Ratings confirmed Arca Continental’s rating at A3, the third place in the block of investment grade assets, while the company maintains its outlook at a stable level.
For Moody’s Ratings, Arca Continental’s rating continues to be supported by its leadership position in Latin America and the United States, its extensive distribution network and extensive product portfolio, as well as by Arca Continental’s adequate interest coverage, its modest leverage, positive free cash flow generation and solid liquidity.
Also, the rating given to Arca Continental is due to stability in demand that has allowed the company to outperform its global counterparts in the last five years and has historically supported above-average profitability.
Moody’s Ratings announced that Arca Continental’s rating could increase if Mexico’s sovereign rating is improved or if the company continues to improve its geographic diversification and the average sovereign rating of its main markets continues to be higher than that of Mexico.
