With three victories in four rounds of Brasileirão, the Botafogo makes a good start to the championship again, just like in 2023, when he had the title in his hands and saw it slip away to Palmeiras. Given this, the Portuguese coach shows concern about the mental side of his team and, therefore, sees no need to say that Glorioso are favorites to win.
“We create a lot of expectations about the players. Today we have a virus, which is social networks. This worries me too. We have to work on our ability to communicate with the athletes seeking this same evolution. We only won one game. We are candidates to win games I don’t want to talk about what will happen in the future and we can’t live in the past”, he said.
