Due to the public calamity situation in Rio Grande do Sul, the Central Bank informed this Wednesday, 8th, that it decided to postpone the date of the public competition to hire 100 new employees.
The event would be held on May 19th and there is still no definition of a new date. According to the BC, it will be necessary to wait for conditions to normalize in Porto Alegre, where the tests will be administered.
The monetary authority also informed that the competition has 1,100 registered participants in Rio Grande do Sul, which is equivalent to around 3% of the more than 38 thousand candidates. “The postponement will not have any financial impact on the Central Bank”, added the institution.
