The training included several programs, including: the Division of Comprehensive Health Care for Women, Children, Adolescents and the Elderly (DAISMCA); Technical Area of Food and Nutrition (ATAN); eMulti, which are teams composed of health professionals from different areas of knowledge and professional categories in Primary Health Care (PHC) and Mental Health.
Raquel Silva, manager of DAISMCA in Belford Roxo, stated that continuing education is very important for the qualification of professionals in the health care network. “This training is important so that we can guarantee access to professionals who form part of the multidisciplinary team in the health care network, especially in primary health care”, concluded Raquel.
Quality of life
Aurélia Nava, 27 years old, a doctor from Pará, highlighted the relevance of training. “It’s important for us to be here to get to know the city and thus help improve quality of life and facilitate access to healthcare,” she said. “I feel grateful and very happy. I have enormous affection for my patients”, concluded Aurélia.
Rafael Rosenberger, 27, a doctor from Paraná, said that it was rewarding to participate in the training. “I am grateful for the opportunity, as it is a complete change of life and it is full of challenges. And whoever wants to aspire to a space in the future, has to donate a little more”, he stressed. “Helping and welcoming people who need it most is a of my focus. So I came to a new place to seek new goals and help the population of Belford Roxo”, concluded Rafael.
