Bodies found in Ensenada could be missing foreign surfers: Prosecutor’s Office – El Financiero

Andrade Ramírez explained that, based on the investigations, they consider that the crime would have been “circumstantial,” as he noted that The alleged culprits tried to seize the tourists’ car. He indicated that these people were armed, so when they resisted, the foreigners were shot.

Among the evidence available so far, the prosecutor mentioned that they found drag marks, remains of the tents, clothing and blood stains. Likewise, she said that The cell phone of one of the missing was found in possession of one of the suspects.

Regarding the car in which the three surfers were traveling, the prosecutor explained that the detained woman was the one driving the vehicle.

“We consider that these people, seeing the action They tried to dispose of the victims’ bodies throwing them into this well more than 15 meters deep with the intention that they would not be found by any authority or family member, since when they saw the magnitude of the events, they became scared,” said the official, who specified that this information was obtained from the narration of one of the testimonies.


The prosecutor stated that they already maintain communication with the authorities of the embassy of the United States and Australiaas well as with relatives of the three foreignerswho will appear tomorrow at the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Baja California.
