Rio – Muskito and Roberta Freitas form the new first couple of master chef and flag bearer of the Boi da Ilha do Governador. The announcement was made by the board last Tuesday (16).
The chosen professional has played for clubs such as Santa Cruz, Salgueiro, Sereno de Campo Grande, Alegria da Zona Sul and Império da Tijuca. “I would like to thank you for the trust placed in our work. It is an honor to defend the colors of Boi da Ilha”, stated the master of the ceremony.
The flag bearer also celebrated. “It’s a mix of happiness and responsibility. I am very happy with this return to school”, said Roberta, who has already attended schools such as Santa Cruz, Paraíso do Tuiuti, Unidos de Villa Rica and Estácio de Sá.
Boi da Ilha will parade in the Silver Series in 2025.
