Rio РO Flamengo got angry once again with the refereeing in the Brazilian Championship. after the draw with Bragantino, this Saturday (4), in Bragan̤a Paulista, for the 5th round, Rubro-Negro left the field with the feeling that they had been harmed and complaining about at least two moves. Football vice-president Marcos Braz raised the tone of the complaints and demanded responses from the CBF.

“It’s a shame what’s happening. I want to understand the following: is it whoever hits the table the hardest, who fights the most, who is taking the lead? Is that why the CBF is kneeling? It’s whoever hits the table, whoever hits, whoever makes very dangerous conclusions? We have to see how we do it, because the championship will not end well”, said Marcos Braz after the match.

Flamengo complains about having been harmed for the second consecutive game. Vice-president Marcos Braz recalled the mistakes in the defeat in the classic against Botafogo, on the 28th, and called referee Raphael Claus — cited by businessman John Textor, majority partner of SAF do Alvinegro, in the Manipulation CPI — “lax ” for some decisions.

“Against Botafogo, in which we lost the game, the player (Luiz Henrique) put on a mask on the field, in front of the referee. The referee (Raphael Claus) didn’t yellow it. Lax, he didn’t even give a yellow card. He should have given a yellow card, but that should not be an interpretation, it is a rule. There was no yellow card. In the subsequent play, the same player received a yellow card”, he recalled.

“It’s sad to see the referees. They are highly pressured. What I saw at the end of the game here, I didn’t even want to say much. What I told the referees there was that they should come together and take a stand on some issues in relation to the accusations that were made. I felt sorry for complaining about the game. What is happening in Brazilian football is a joke”, added the director.

With the result, Flamengo reached eight points and moved up to fourth place. Bragantino is third, with nine. Rubro-Negro returns to the field next Tuesday (7), at 9pm (Brasília time), against Palestino, away from home, in the 4th round of the Libertadores group stage.
