Broken down lorry at Dartford Tunnel between A296 and A206 causes long delays towards Dartford Crossing

A broken down lorry is causing six-mile queues heading towards the Dartford Crossing.

Two lanes have been closed on the A282 northbound between the A296 and the A206 due to recovery work on the M25 Dartford Tunnel anticlockwise from J1a A206 (Dartford) to J31 A1306 (Lakeside / Purfleet).

There is congestion to J3 M20 Swanley Interchange, and back down the A2 past Gravesend.

The right-hand tunnel has been closed since 6.35am there are six miles of congestion on approach which is causing about an hour delay.
