Broomfield FISH, a food bank and resource center, is once again teaming up with the National Association of Letter Carriers for the national Stamp Out Hunger food drive day on May 11.
Broomfield residents should watch for a Stamp Out Hunger food bag in their mailbox. Residents can fill a bag with non-perishable food and personal care items and leave them by the mailbox on May 11 for postal carriers to collect. The National Association of Letter Carriers is the union arm of the postal workers who work for the U.S. Postal Service.
FISH, which stands for Fellowship in Serving Humanity, helped keep one in six Broomfield residents fed and housed in 2023, according to information on their website. They find there is an increasing need for their services in the community, so they’re seeking extra help through donations and volunteers. To learn more, visit broomfieldfish.org.Â
