A Broomfield resident was taken to the hospital after being rescued from a structure fire on Tuesday night.
According to North Metro Fire’s post on X, firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 900 block of East 11th Avenue near Ash Street.

One person was able to get out of the house. However, the other person was rescued by firefighters and taken to a nearby hospital, according to the post. Firefighters also rescued a dog.
The house is uninhabitable due to heavy damage from the fire, and firefighters said they do not know what caused the fire.
