Rio – Scorer of Flamengo’s equalizer against Bragantino, in the fifth round of the Brazilian Championship, in Bragança Paulista, striker Bruno Henrique, 33 years old, took over as Rubro-Negro’s second top scorer in the current season.
The player found the net on three occasions this season and was equal to Everton Cebolinha and Léo Pereira, who had also scored the same number of times this year. Bruno Henrique took to the field in 22 games and provided one assist.
Flamengo is going through a season of great dependence on Pedro, who is arguably the Rio club’s top scorer. The striker made 20 appearances for the Rio club and scored 15 goals in 2024.
Flamengo idol, Gabigol, 27 years old, scored just two goals this year. The striker was suspended for more than a month for having disrupted the process of an anti-doping test in 2023. In total, the number 10 took to the field in just nine games this season.
