I am unemployed and went to CRAS to seek information about criteria for granting social benefits, but I was unable to receive assistance. How can I know if I am eligible to receive a benefit? (Mauro Coutinho, Anchieta).
The best way to check your eligibility to receive social benefits is to go to the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) closest to your residence. CRAS are fundamental structures to offer support to people in vulnerable situations, offering basic social assistance services and carrying out a technical assessment of each individual’s situation.
To receive care at CRAS, you must go to one of the reference units that operate from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, and are strategically located in areas with higher levels of vulnerability and social risk.
“I hope this information is useful and that you are able to obtain the support you need to overcome this difficult time. If you need any further guidance, do not hesitate to return to the CRAS closest to your residence”, says Adilson Pires, Municipal Secretary of Social Assistance.
It is important to seek correct guidance on the assistance benefits offered, highlights lawyer Átila Nunes from the service www.reclamaradianta.com.br.
