Rio – The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) defined the court that will judge the request for suspensive effect from Gabigol, from Flamengo. This is because, this Tuesday, the 23rd, the institution appointed its representative for the trial. The information was first given by “ge”.
Three referees participate in the trial: one appointed by the athlete’s defense; one appointed by the Brazilian Doping and Control Authority (ABCD); and one appointed by CAS.
Now, the trial could take place at any time. The parties will be notified of the outcome through an official court announcement.
The judicial process at CAS has a cost. The Brazilian Doping Control Authority (ABCD) took a long time to make the payment, which was made by Gabigol himself to speed up the trial.
