Duque de Caxias – The City Hall of Duque de Caxias, through the Municipal Secretariat of Environment and Animal Protectionwill hold, on (07/05), from 9 am to 12 pm, at Espaço Sest Senat, located at Estrada do Boitatá, nº 449, the 3rd Participatory Workshop for the preparation of PROMEA (Municipal Environmental Education Program).
According to the secretary of Environment and Animal Protection, Ricardo Matos Torres, the Program aims to establish a policy to regulate Environmental Education in the city.
“This policy must be created with the participation of civil societythrough participatory workshops to identify the needs and opportunities to improve the environmental condition and quality of life and direct possible actions to mitigate the problems detected”, concluded the Department manager.
