Rio – A CBF will postpone more Internacional, Grêmio and Youth games. After postponing the matches of the three teams from Rio Grande do Sul for the 5th round, the entity is already working to postpone the duels for the 6th round, scheduled for next weekend, according to information from “ESPN Brasil”.

Salgado Filho International Airport, in Porto Alegre, announced this Monday (6) the suspension of its operations until the end of May, due to rain and flooding. Grêmio, Internacional and Juventude interrupted their activities after running out of their CTs and stadiums to train.

Grêmio would face Atlético-MG, in Belo Horizonte (MG), Saturday (11), while Inter and Juventude would face each other at Beira-Rio, in Porto Alegre, on Monday (13). The CBF is also considering postponing the trio’s games in the 7th round. Conmebol also postponed Grêmio and Inter games for the Libertadores and Sul-Americana.

The CBF should not paralyze the Brazilian Championship. The entity works to postpone the games of teams from Rio Grande do Sul until they are unable to do so. Furthermore, they cannot leave Rio Grande do Sul until at least the end of May due to the suspension of activities at the International Airport.
