CHICAGO — Chicago police are asking for help finding a missing 12-year-old girl who was last seen in the city’s Chicago Lawn neighborhood.
Dasia Whitfield is described as being about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
She was last seen April 16 in the 3100 block of West Marquette Road, but police said she was possibly seen near Kilmer Elementary School in the 6700 block of North Greenview Avenue.
Police said she is also believed to be riding the CTA Red Line.
She was last seen wearing a black jacket, purple shirt, light blue sweat pants with “Dixon” on the side and was wearing her hair in a puff pony tail.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Area One SVU detectives at 312-747-8380.
