Presenter Chris Flores published a text on social media this Thursday (25) talking about the end of her contract with SBT. This month, the journalist confirmed that she is leaving the broadcaster after seven years of work.
On her Instagram profile, the former “Fofocalizando” presenter spoke about her career at the network. “About my departure from SBT… Cycles end… With love and gratitude, I thank you for everything I experienced, for the opportunities, affection and professional respect with which I was treated. For the love of you who follow my professional life, allowing me achieve so many achievements”, she began in the caption.
“Understanding our limits is important and necessary. And putting them into practice is an ethical attitude towards ourselves and others. Knowing when to leave is as important as being ready for arrival. You must have courage and honesty to understand when something comes to an end. And understand that an end is not necessarily something negative. It is necessary to finish to have a fresh start”, she highlighted.
“What goes on in our lives, in our hearts… Only we really know. Judgments about our lives and attitudes will always come. Faith makes us understand and practice forgiveness – the person who judges says more about him than the person being judged. Maturity brings us an understanding: knowing what we don’t want is perhaps more important than knowing what we want. And what’s not good for us doesn’t mean it’s bad. It just doesn’t make sense to us anymore. We are neither better nor worse for it”, he continued.
When he confirmed his departure from the network, Chris Flores stated that he was no longer interested in running gossip attractions. “I don’t deny what I was, nor what I did. On the contrary, I thank and respect my past and my experiences. I am the result of all of this. I just recognize that they no longer make sense at this moment in life. Saying ‘no’ is liberating, a way of love”, he declared. “Thank you to EVERYONE at SBT who always treated me with so much love. Thank you to Daniela Beyruti for the very complimentary, affectionate and sweet words about me on my way out, for leaving the front doors open, until I left. soon,’” she said.
Finally, Chris Flores gave special thanks to Silvio Santos. “But, above all, for reminding me of what led me to SBT: your father, my great idol and teacher Silvio Santos. The words always said by him about me, and now repeated and relayed by you, will never leave my heart… And they will be kept only with me… I had the privilege of working with him and for him. How lucky for me! So much career and life learning!
