Chile – Douglas Costa, from Fluminense, felt pain in his leg and had to be substituted in the 39th minute of the first half of the game against Colo-Colo, this Thursday, 9th, at the Monumental David Arellano Stadium, in Santiago. Diniz chose to put Alexsander in his place.
The number 90 shirt was one of Tricolor’s reinforcements for the season. Douglas arrived in January, but has suffered from physical problems. So far, he has played 16 games, scored no goals and made one assist.
Colo-Colo and Fluminense face off in the fourth round of the Libertadores. At the moment, Tricolor has six points and appears at the top of Group A. The Chilean team has five and occupies second place.
