Compod Coordinator met with the Head of Instruction of TG 01-016 at Grupo TransfuturoDisclosure/CCS PMBM
Barra Mansa – This Wednesday (8), the Public Order Secretariat of Barra Mansa, through the Municipal Coordination of Policies on Alcohol and other Drugs (Compod) and together with Tiro de Guerra (TG 01-016), had a meeting with representatives of the Transfuturo Group, located in the Cotiara neighborhood, on the banks of Rodovia Presidente Dutra.
The meeting aimed to generate opportunities for shooters who are part of the TG and enable them to take the first step towards entering the job market. The Chief of Instruction of TG 01-016, 1st Sergeant Alex Costa de Moraes, highlighted that the meeting was very positive and could bring good perspectives.
“This opportunity to insert our shooters into the job market is a great initiative and they can, from a young age, know the value of having a profession, in addition to developing their responsibilities and becoming men of integrity. The conversation we had was positive and the company informed us that, if there are vacancies, they will get in touch”, he detailed.
Compod coordinator, César Thomé, emphasized that the measure is extremely important for shooters. “In search of partnerships for shooters, we met with company representatives and talked about proposals that could take them to their first job. Income and work build a person, in addition to keeping our young people away from drugs,” he said .
Transfuturo Group’s social worker, Elaine Flôr Corrêa, praised the partnership. “We have already had good results through this partnership that encourages young people to enter the job market through the ‘Young Apprentice’ program. Some of them have become collaborators and, as a result, we are remaking these ties, talking to improve this partnership and, at the same time, they nominate people who stand out within the development of the Army”, highlighted Elaine.
