Rio – The Military Police, using information from Hotline, arrested a fugitive criminal on Rua Gandy, in the Monte Castelo neighborhood, in Volta Redonda, in the south of the state, on Thursday afternoon (18). Igor Gonçalves Martins, known as ‘Pezinho’, aged 27, was responsible for guarding the weapons of the Third Comando Puro (TCP) faction in the region.
In the action, the agents seized a 38-caliber revolver, a cell phone and 12-gauge ammunition. There was an open arrest warrant against him for drug trafficking, with a return to a closed regime for a period of 21 years.
Igor had been on the run since 2022 after leaving prison for work benefits and breaking his electronic ankle bracelet. After being arrested, he was taken to the 93rd DP (Volta Redonda).
