Mangaratiba – “Drivers from Costa Verde who were fined at the Free Flow toll booths, at Rio-Santos, between Mangaratiba and Paraty, will have to present the infraction notice number for the toll currency, so that it can be attached to the process being processed in court that suspended the fines imposed by ANTT”. This information comes from the leader of the movement against tolls in Rio-Santos, taxi driver Raphael Cendon.
According to him, the guidance comes from the MPF and is necessary in the process. To speed up delivery, it is important that the driver brings his name, CPF and infraction number, this Saturday to the dealership station in Itacuruçá.

The achievement was celebrated after the federal court ruled in favor of the public civil action, last month, filed by the MPF, DP-RJ and DPU, asking for the cancellation of the infraction records. The decision, dated April 18 of this year, states the “suspension of all infraction notices drawn up by ANTT, based on article 209-A of the Brazilian Traffic Code (“toll evasion”), as well as the enforceability of all penalties applied by ANTT for the same reason”, the drivers ask for a review of the entire system implemented in Rio-Santos, so that some points can be corrected, such as changing the fare payment date from 15 to 30 days.
The action does not include the charging of tolls on the gantries, this continues to be carried out, only the fines, during the experimental period of the new system, until the date of the decision, were cancelled.
