The former Argentine soccer player César Luis Menottiwho world champion with the Argentina national team in 1978 and was nicknamed ‘El Flaco’, he died at the age of 85.
Through a message on social networks, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) confirmed the death of César Luis Menotti:
“The Argentine Football Association regrets to report with great sadness the death of César Luis Menotti, current Director of National Teams and former World Champion coach of Argentina.”
In the AFA publication, several soccer fans wrote farewell messages for César Luis Menotti.
