Erie residents ages 12 to 17 can learn about law enforcement through a free, two-day program at the Erie Police Department, 1000 Telleen Ave.
The Erie Police Department’s Community Academy for Youth will provide participants with a fun and engaging look into police work. The program will cover topics like crime scene investigation, physical agility testing, self-defense, K-9 demonstrations, and patrol procedures.
The academy takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 19 and 20
