Araruama – An important ally in combating the proliferation of Aedes aegypti, the mosquito that transmits dengue fever, the smoke car is operating weekly in the neighborhoods of Araruama that have the highest incidence of the disease.
This week, the smoke will travel through the towns of Areal, Parque Hotel and Praia Seca, in the morning shift (from 6am to 9am), between April 29th and May 3rd.
Epidemiological Surveillance asks residents to collaborate by keeping windows and doors open during the action. It is important to protect food and kitchen utensils, as well as changing pet water after the vehicle passes.
