Maricá – Maricá City Hall opened on Thursday (18), in Araçatiba, the 6th edition of the Art&Bier Festival, aimed at the beer public, who can enjoy shows by singers Bruna Mandz and Maiara Coboski. The event brings together seven craft breweries in the city, several gastronomic options, craft fairs and shows by 19 artists and bands, who promise to excite the public with lots of samba, country music, pop and rock until April 28th.
The event, which takes place on two consecutive weekends in an area set up next to Maricá airport, is promoted by the Tourism departments; Promotion and Special Projects and the Maricá Development Company (Codemar). The festival brings together Pilsen, Irish Red Ale, Session IPA, Witbier, English Porter, kölsch, Cream Ale and Wheat Bier beers, among others.
The Secretary of Promotion and Special Projects, Júlia Britto, stated that the Art&Bier Festival is a space to enjoy with family and friends. “In addition to being an event that brings together craft beers, shows, crafts and gastronomy over the next two weeks, always from Thursday to Sunday, in Araçatiba, it is a festival to enjoy with the family,” she said.
Enjoying the first day of the event, Lucas Augusto, 30, said that the festival brings everything together in one place. “A good event to enjoy and great for the family. Here I listen to a sound, eat and drink different types of beer, in addition to the change of structure that was sensational, with air conditioning and space for children”, he declared.
Fairs are present
The Nature Art and Culture Fair takes place this first week (from the 18th to the 21st) with lots of accessories, decorative items, sweets, cracklings and jewelry. The traditional Feirarte will be present between the 25th and 28th of April, with several exhibitors and sales of crafts, clothes and accessories, among others.
For Gabriela Gonçalves, 25 years old, it is important to combine gastronomy and crafts. “It’s great to see that crafts are increasingly being integrated with gastronomic events, as I was there having fun with friends and came to buy jewelry and pork rinds here at the fair next door”, commented the Center resident.
The place also has an exclusive space for children, with toys such as a ball pit, bounce house and free entertainment for the kids.
Motorcyclist meeting and car exhibition
This year’s program will also feature two special attractions: next Sunday (04/21) there will be a meeting of motorcyclists from 40 motorcycle clubs from Maricá and other municipalities in the State of Rio de Janeiro. On Saturday (27/04) there will be an exhibition of customized Japanese cars.
