Fluminense confirms injury to André’s knee ligament, but no need for surgery | Fluminense

Rio – Fluminense announced this Friday afternoon (26) that midfielder André was diagnosed with an injury to the medial collateral ligament of his right knee, following an imaging test. Furthermore, the club reported that the player’s anterior cruciate ligament is preserved, as well as the meniscus. No surgery will be necessary.

André’s injury is the same one that midfielder Alexsander suffered last year. At the time, before getting injured again, the tendency was that ‘Levado’ would miss Tricolor for at least a month.

Fluminense had already anticipated André’s return to Rio de Janeiro for the midfielder to begin treatment for the injury.
