Rio – Fluminense will have a marathon in the next three weeks. In the final stretch of this month and the first fortnight of next, the Team of Warriors will have commitments for the Libertadores, Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa do Brasil, and will cover around 19 thousand kilometers on trips.

After the classic against Vasco, on Saturday (20), Fluminense will play five of six games away from Rio de Janeiro. Amid the crisis due to the bad phase, the marathon away from the fans does not come at a good time. To make matters worse, the only commitment in Rio should not be at Maracanã because of two other events in the city.

Between commitments outside Rio de Janeiro, Fluminense travels to Asunción, in Paraguay, and Santiago, in Chile, for the Libertadores. In Brazil, he goes to São Paulo twice to face Corinthians and São Paulo, in the Brasileirão, in addition to the duel against Sampaio Corrêa, in Maranhão, for the Copa do Brasil.

In total, Fluminense must travel 19 thousand kilometers. The longest route is to Santiago, Chile: around 8.7 km round trip. Then, Maranhão, with approximately 6.1 km. In fact, it is very likely that Fluminense will travel to Assunção, in Paraguay, and then head straight to São Paulo and Maranhão.
