Amanda Meirelles, winner of BBB 23, is involved in the solidarity chain to help victims in Rio Grande do Sul. Working as a volunteer in the city of Canoas, the influencer opened her heart and reported her experience there. In fact, the celebrity assured that she has not left the Intensive Care Unit since she arrived.
The doctor explained that she is treating patients in critical situations. “Just to clarify here, I understand that some people want to know what the experience is like, the experience here, some media outlets also got in touch so I could give interviews. However, since I arrived, I haven’t left the ICU yet. ”, he revealed.
Sharing the seriousness of the situation, she continued: “We have patients who are more vulnerable, right, critical patients who are sedated, who are intubated, it doesn’t make sense to expose this, you know? (…) We are preserving the image of patients here”, she explained.
The ex-BBB emphasized that her objective is not to record for social media, but to help. “So, I show up to say what we need: encourage donations, right? If the day I’m not there (in the ICU), I can show you the city. However, that’s not my intention, it should be come here to work and help with my work, and show you what we really need”, he concluded.
