Jorge arrives at CRB after terminating his contract with Palmeiras. He was loaned at the beginning of the season to Santos, a club where he had a great spell in 2019, however, he was returned to Alviverde for not reaching the expected physical levels.
Revealed by Flamengo, Jorge had an excellent start to his professional career. In 2016, he was voted the best player in his position in the Brazilian Championship. Good football led to Jorge being traded to European football, playing for Monaco, in France. However, his stay on the Old Continent did not go as expected due to the serious injuries he suffered there. He experienced his last great moment at Santos in 2019.
Jorge returned to Brazil in 2021, to defend Palmeiras. Despite being a multiple champion for the team coached by Abel Ferreira, the full-back never had much of a chance for Alviverde, and was loaned to Fluminense last year. However, a serious injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee caused him to be sidelined for the season in February.
