The Boulder County Resource Conservation Division will hold a free compost workshop at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Longmont Public Library, 409 Fourth Ave.
Master composter Melanie Nehls Burow will teach participants about backyard composting. Participants will learn how to get started, how to successfully maintain a compost bin, how to use the compost you create and how to troubleshoot your compost pile. To register, go to boco.org/compostworkshops.
