During the interview, the 27-year-old actress does not hide her excitement when talking about Sandra and gives her opinion on her importance in the soap opera. “Sandra inspires me daily. It’s an achievement as an artist to play a character who has the courage to say what needs to be said, to question, to open new paths and make people question themselves along with her”, says the artist , which highlights his similarities with the character. “I’m a very inquisitive and observant woman, I think we differentiate ourselves when it comes to expressing these ideas to the world.”

In the plot, João Pedro’s (Juan Paiva) girlfriend proves to be ahead of her time and promotes some debates. She has already explained to Joana (Alice Carvalho), for example, what harassment and labor law are, in addition to warning her mother about the abusive relationship with her father, Egídio. This week, the young woman will also tell Dona Mistress that she is entitled to part of the colonel’s assets after deciding to separate from him.

In real life, Giullia says she is also the counselor type. “I’m a counselor to a fault. As a good Aquarian, I love feeling like I’m contributing in some way to people’s lives and humanity. Recording these scenes that go beyond fiction and convey such an important message is one of the greatest achievements I could have as a person , as well as professional. I thank the brilliant work of the entire renascer team that has this sensitivity, from the text by Benedito and Bruno Luperi, to our direction, cast production by Marcella Bergamo and the entire team on set”.

In the last chapters, Sandra got closer to Eliana (Sophie Charlotte). The two even accepted Rachid’s (Almir Sater) proposal to open a forró club. The actress reveals whether this friendship will give something to talk about in the serial written by Bruno Luperi, based on the work of Benedito Ruy Barbosa, and praises her co-worker. “I’m a great admirer of Sophie Charlotte’s work and I’ve never hidden that! It’s been a delight to share a scene with her and I hope that these two strong and determined women can have good times together and help each other.”

Damião’s (Xamã) lover, in fact, will be one of the first people to find out about Sandra’s suspected pregnancy, in scenes that will air this week. The young woman will also confide in her mother, Dona Patroa, about the possibility that she is expecting a child from João Pedro, one of José Inocêncio’s (Marcos Palmeira) heirs. “Sandra suspects a pregnancy that was not in her plans and I decided to share it with the two women she trusts most and I hope that this network of women will support her in making the best decisions.”

Rooted for the couple

In the original version of the soap opera, shown in 1993, Sandra marries João Pedro. Giullia hopes that the two remain together in the remake and says that she follows the repercussion of the couple’s scenes on social media. “I’m rooting for this couple and I also follow them as a viewer, I think they’re good for each other and they’re maturing together”, she says. The actress also comments that she never watched old scenes of the character, who was played by Luciana Braga more than 20 years ago. “I didn’t get to watch it, I chose to delve deeper into Sandra’s essence and her universe, with horseback riding and accent lessons”, she lists.

Away from the spotlight

Born in Portugal, Buscacio arrived in Rio de Janeiro as a child. With this, the actress declares herself “very carioca”. One of the artist’s favorite things to do in the wonderful city is going to the beach. “In my free time, I like being with friends and family, watching films, outdoor programs, and, like a good carioca, I love the beach”, says the young woman, who shares curiosities with her. “I’m shy and I avoid disturbing, I let go with the people closest to me.”

Good shape

On social media, Giullia often shares bikini snaps and receives countless compliments from fans about her beauty and good shape. The beautiful curves of Sandra’s interpreter are the result of exercise and good nutrition. “I like physical activities. Sometimes, with the rush of everyday life, my exercise routine changes, but I came from a home where my father was an athlete and was constantly moving and paying attention to my diet, I think that contributed a lot for the way I live my life and health with my mind and body”.
