Rio – A collision left three people injured on Avenida Embaixador Abelardo Bueno, in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone, towards Linha Amarela, this Wednesday morning (8).
The accident occurred after a motorcyclist, who was riding with a pillion, ran over a pedestrian. According to the Fire Department, the Barra barracks were called to the scene at 8:58 am.
The victims, two men and a woman, who have not yet been identified, were taken to Lourenço Jorge Municipal Hospital. So far, there is no information about his health status.
The Military Police were also called to the scene. At the time of the accident, CET-Rio agents helped with traffic, which was congested on the stretch.
