HR firm ties up investment and will expand in Monterrey – El Financiero

After obtaining 24.5 million dollars in investment, the Spanish startup Sesame will dedicate part of those resources to growth in the country, with a primary focus on the Monterrey market, the company announced.

Part of this amount will be allocated to human talent, innovation and development of new solutions, indicated the firm that develops technology and innovative solutions for human resources (HR) management.

He added that the objective is to accelerate the digitalization of the HR areas of companies with 50 to 2 thousand employees.

Regarding the investment round, he noted that it is backed by the British funds PSG and GP Bullhound, the latter being the majority.

This year the company will seek to expand its offering of products and services with a view to continuing to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the HR areas, as well as doubling the workforce.

According to Sesame, its software allows you to digitize the most routine HR processes such as vacations, shifts, signings, recruitment, document management, onboarding and training, among others, so that managers in this area can put talent at the center. , professional development and the well-being of their teams.

“Mexico has extraordinary technological potential, in addition to having one of the best levels in terms of human talent,” said Albert Soriano, Founder and CEO of Sesame.

The company has more than 400 clients in Mexico from industries such as technology, retail, tourism and logistics, including Toyota, Puma, Playstation, lMada, HSBC, WPP, Stanley, Hyatt and Black Deckerm.
