‘I didn’t tell lies’ – El Financiero

The opposition candidate Xochitl Galvez This Monday he justified his attacks against the Morena flag-bearer, Claudia Sheinbaum in it second presidential debate.

In an interview for Grupo Formula, the candidate for the presidency of the Republic maintained that she did not tell lies after she was questioned for being quite tough in the debate on Sunday, April 28 toward Claudia Sheinbaum.

“On environmental issues, pollution grew with her as Head of Government, in the pandemic she was poorly managed, it was the city in the country that had the most excess mortality, she gave medication for lice to the inhabitants of the City, on the issue of water she is failed (…) I think that what I said yesterday is totally true, I did not tell any lies,” he said in a phone call to Ciro Gómez.

Likewise, he assured that he called Sheinbaum as “narcocandidate” after he referred to her as corrupt.

“You can’t prove that I have stolen a peso, and if there was an illegal building, why don’t I close it? She was the Head of Government. I left in 2018, she arrived that year, why don’t I close the buildings? “There is not a single manifestation of work that I have given improperly (…) I am not a bandit, I am not corrupt, if she has a loose tongue to be an adjective of that size, then I can have it too,” he claimed.

When questioned about the security issue that will be discussed in the upcoming third presidential debate, Sunday May 19 assured that the issue of Garcia Luna not the “paralyzed” one.


“I am not paralyzed by the security debate, I will have a position, anyone who has a crime will be investigated in accordance with the law,” he stated.

This will be the last meeting between the candidates Claudia Sheinbaum, from Morena and allies; Xóchitl Gálvez, from the PRI-PAN-PRD alliance; and Jorge Álvarez Máynezfrom Citizen Movement.
