In Iguaba, a woman with severe intellectual disability is rescued after kidnapping and rape | Big Iguaba

Big Iguaba – A woman identified as ECF was rescued this Monday (15) by civil police officers from Iguaba Grande. The woman, who has a severe intellectual disability, had been kidnapped from her home last Friday (12). In the meantime, she was sexually assaulted while being held in prison in Rio de Janeiro.

According to the Civil Police, investigations progressed quickly after obtaining images from security cameras, which helped identify the vehicle that transported the victim. Through the testimony of an app driver, it was possible to track the route to the Campo Grande neighborhood, in Rio de Janeiro. There, at the residence of an element identified as CEDM, she was found.

On Monday morning, E. was located and, during the return to Iguaba Grande, the element, according to the incident, admitted to having had sexual relations with her. Exams carried out at the Araruama IML confirmed the occurrence of carnal union and recent libidinous acts, all under duress and threat. Given the evidence, the man was arrested red-handed.

Afterwards, E. returned to her mother’s care and was referred for specialized medical care. The element, in turn, was sent to the prison system and will be available to the courts.
