Cabo Frio – A joint operation between the Military Police and the Municipal Guard of Cabo Frio inspected Praia do Forte, the Municipal Theater, Passagem, Centro, Canal Boulevard, Praça Porto Rocha and Largo Santo Antônio, with the aim of combating the illegal practice of flanneling in the city.
The action took place on the afternoon of this Tuesday (23rd) holiday, triggered by directives from the Commander of the 25th BPM and had the support of the Public Order Secretariat.
The focus of the operation was the prevention of irregular activity by flanelinhas, which, in addition to causing inconvenience to the population, often involves intimidation and threats to residents and tourists. During the action, two suspicious individuals were approached, taken to the 126th Police Station, interviewed and released.
