Singer Ivete Sangalo participated in the podcast “Podpah”, presented by Igão e Mítica, this Friday (26) and recalled an episode that was remembered in 2016. The artist was accused of jealousy during a performance at a private party held in Guarajuba, tourist district of Camaçari, in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador.
At the time, the artist was accused of making a scene when she saw her husband, Daniel Cady, talking to another woman. “Who is this, daddy?” said Ivete on stage when she saw her companion.
“It was stupid at the time, it was really difficult for me. When you do something that involves you, it’s fine, but when it involves someone else?!”, stated Ivete on the podcast.
According to the singer, the moment that went viral was nothing more than a big joke: “I received a big stick, which was supposed to be funny, it wasn’t. It was a joke.”
The artist, who is the mother of Marcelo, Marina and Helena, also highlighted that her husband is a very discreet person. “He sleeps in my dressing room, in the trio. Daniel is a guy who socially has a battery. I don’t! Mine is always full”, she added.
