Rio – Erick Jacquin published a curious video this Tuesday (23), in which he comments on customers who go to his restaurant, “Les Présidents”, in São Paulo, in flip-flops, shorts and a tank top, clothes that he considers more suitable for go to the beach, not to a restaurant.
“Why are you going to my restaurant in tank tops, shorts and flip-flops? Do you think it’s cool to go to the beach in a suit and tie? And you do the same thing to me”, he said, with a strong French accent. Then, he fell into the sea in an orange suit and tie, aiming to draw attention to the “absurdity”.
Instagram comments show divided opinions. While a follower states that “This is called good manners and politeness. Just because you have money doesn’t mean you can wear what you want in places”, another argues that Jacquin is elitist and is not in France: “Each country has its own culture. Deal therefore”.
