The victory left Botafogo in second place in Group D, with 6 pointsbehind leader Junior Barranquilla only on goal difference. In the last two rounds of the group stage, the Rio team will play away from home: on May 16th, against Universitario, in Lima, and on the 28th, against Barranquilla itself, in Colombia.
Now, Glorioso turns its key to the Brazilian Championship. The next challenge will be against Fortaleza, on Sunday (12)at 4pm (Brasília time), in Castelão.
