The “Belem” arrived in the Old Port around 7:30 p.m. this Wednesday, after 12 days of travel from its native homeland, Greece. On board, the swimming champion Florent Manaudou carried the Olympic flame which finally reached French soil, two and a half months before the start of the Paris 2024 Games. On his arrival, Florent Manaudou passed the flame to the Paralympic athletics champion Nantenin Keitawho herself handed it over to French rap star Jul, this one lighting the Olympic cauldron.
