Padua- After a year and three months commanding the 36th BPM/Pádua, Lieutenant Colonel Corbarge passed on the role to Lieutenant Colonel Saraiva, received by the troops in a rite of passage this Tuesday (7).
Corbage, also former deputy commander of the BOPE-Special Police Operations Battalion, maintained the mystique of the 36th which, during the cycle of his command, gained the codename Battalion of the Galaxies, due to the number of arrests made, drug seizures, and decrease drastic in all official safety indices. Now he goes to the 22nd BPM, in Bonsucesso, Rio de Janeiro, one of the most operational and strategic in the state.
Regarding him, in a recent interview with the program Noroeste News, presented by Angelo Lorenzini and Elias Meiber in Itaperuna, the mayor of Santo Antônio de Pádua, Paulinho da Refrigeração, said: “Corbage is a police officer who only added positivity to the municipality and region, The population likes him a lot.”
