Duque de Caxias – O “Ler Para Va-Ler” Literary Circuit continues to delight children and young people in the city of Duque de Caxias until next Friday (10/05), at the Ginásio Poliesportivo Gilberto Lelis Pedrosa. The event, which began last Monday, has a multidisciplinary program for educators and students. At the opening of the circuit, 05/06, state and municipal authorities were present.

“It is a great joy for us to start the week with the opening of this great event for education, for the State of Rio de Janeiro, for Duke of Caxias, in short, for everyone. It is important to highlight that they are all gathered in a single environment to talk about the importance of reading”, declared the first lady of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Analine Castro.

Also present, and very enthusiastic about the literary event, was the state secretary of Education, professor. Roberta Barreto explained that the fair is a democratic space for access to reading that public managers can offer to schools.

“The Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro invested in 100 thousand vouchers for students from the region to participate in this literary festival”.

Barreto also clarified that the event has spaces that discuss human and social development.

“These spaces create an interactive language for young people. This is what sets the Ler festival apart, which captivates teachers, students and provides opportunities for a transformation of knowledge beyond the school walls. Come and discover this creative reading opportunity”, invited the secretary.

Due to the excitement of children and teenagers, the Mayor of Duque de Caxias, Wilson Reishighlighted that the city’s atmosphere is full of creativity and enthusiasm.

“Every day, new stories are shared, ideas debated and new worlds explored at this literary festival. Our children will be able to have fun and learn through a series of workshops and debates”, concluded the head of the Municipal Executive.
