Rio – Luiza Possi recalled a story from over 20 years ago on the program “Que História É Essa, Porchat?”, shown this Tuesday night, on GNT. The singer said she was chased by a stalker after a show in a city in Amazonas. The man ended up arrested.

“It was the day after the show, they called the hotel room. Ana (producer) answered: ‘This is Luís, I want to talk to Luiza’. You won’t go to talk to Luisa, call later. We went to the airport, There was no more flight, there was no way to leave that city. We went back to the hotel”, recalled the artist.

At the scene, Luís called again insistently wanting to speak to Luiza. “We went to sleep. Two o’clock in the morning, the phone rings. ‘Aren’t you fucking sleeping? It’s Luís. And I’m going to the room, I’m inside the hotel. I said: ‘Ana Paula, stop talking about the phone’. She: ‘It’s Luís, he’s inside the hotel and he’s coming here’. We called reception… We hung up the phone, he called: ‘There’s no point in calling reception'”.

The singer said she still remembered the feeling of panic she felt on the day of the situation. “Then we called Souza, the security guard who was in the next room. And he called again: ‘There’s no point in calling the security guard, I’m coming’. And we were stuck in the hotel and he knew everything that was happening. Souza placed a sofa at the door of my room and there it stayed. We (she and the producer) couldn’t sleep, we cried… We despaired to a degree”, commented Zizi Possi’s daughter.

During the morning, Luiza’s security guard went after this guy Luís. “Souza went from room to room, he found Luís, who was actually called Carlos, and arrested him, took him to the city police station. And then Carlos said: ‘There’s no point in arresting me, because I’m after her, and I’m going to keep going until I catch her.’ I gave up on my pop career and switched to MPB because I found it calmer”, he said.
