CHICAGO — A man was fatally stabbed on the city’s West Side, according to Chicago police.
Police said officers responded to a person down around 4:17 a.m. Friday on the 1600 block of South Loomis in the Lower West Side neighborhood.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 23-year-old man on the ground with stab wounds to the back, abdomen and shoulder. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the stabbing are unknown at this time.
Area Three Detectives are investigating.
