CHICAGO — Chicago police are looking for a man who beat and robbed an older person early Wednesday morning in the city’s Portage Park neighborhood.
According to police, the 67-year-old victim was walking in the 5000 block of Irving Park Road when a man allegedly approached and hit him with some weapon.

The man allegedly stole the victim’s money and personal property before running away in a nearby alley.
The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic in good condition.
Police have made no arrests in the case.
Area Two Detectives are investigating.
