Rio – Civil police officers arrested a man who attacked and tried to rape his ex-girlfriend. He was found on Estrada das Cambucas, in Nova Iguaçu, Baixada.
According to the corporation, after the attempted sexual abuse, which took place at the victim’s home, in Pavuna, North Zone of Rio, the man strangled her and beat his ex-partner, saying he was going to kill her. She was rescued by her 14-year-old daughter, who helped her escape and got support from neighbors.
On its official website, the Civil Police also reported that the forensic examination confirmed all the injuries suffered.
The arrest was made by the 53rd DP (Mosque) last Monday (6). The attacker’s identity was not disclosed.
